Tell us about your family.

I've been married since 1979. We have a son (40) and a daughter (37) (who are both married to wonderful partners) and two grandsons (ages 8 and 6). The grandsons are the light of our lives!

What is your most vivid memory from high school?

Who was your favorite teacher/class?

Mr. Johsens (sr. English). That said, I had many wonderful teachers...Mr. Seals, Ms. Palace, Ms. Oreb, Mr. Haggarty, Mr. Dick...not bad, considering I was only at Saratoga High for two years.

If retired, what keeps you occupied/productive?

I JUST retired, so I'm figuring that out! I volunteer at Grey Bears (a food pantry for seniors) 6 hours/week. I hope to do tutoring and volunteer at our new Capitola Library soon. I'm in a book club and have great friends. I hope to travel again sometime, too.

What has been the most satisfying thing in your life so far?

Having my children and grandchildren, and teaching
