Paris in 2009, where my sweetheart and I fell in love

Tell us about your family.

Rick Hoag is my sweetheart and Taxi is our Labradoodle pup. Between us, we have 5 grandchildren.

What is your most vivid memory from high school?

First day at SHS because I was new to the area and didn't know anyone. Also, I remember the time I swam 25 yards without breathing in a meet because I couldn't never mastered breathing with the butterfly stroke and was determined not to put my feet down in the middle of the race, no matter what.

Who was your favorite teacher/class?

Art classes

If retired, what keeps you occupied/productive?

I'm living the dream in my second career as a full-time artist (sculptor).

What has been the most satisfying thing in your life so far?

Finding love late in life and then, when he passed away soon after we were married, finding love again with someone who was also widowed and is now friends with many of my late husband's and my friends. It's like the same great love took another form.
